CREAMY AVOCADO DIP
This creamy avocado dip is perfect for parties and get-togethers or as a spread on sandwiches for lunch boxes. And why not, you can also just eat it by yourself on a saturday evening with a big plate of oil-free crispy fries.
Fall is around the corner, it’s getting kind of chilly, I’m starting to wear sweat pants at home and this means just one thing: hearty, filling, yummy comfort foods are back in my life. Not that I haven’t been eating that kind of food in the last months, but I’ve definitely been relying more on cold dishes such as my summer salad with tahini dressing and lots of fruits and banana ice cream. Yes, I think I could actually eat an only-banana-ice-cream-diet and I would be happy.
The weather has been kind of gross for the last couple of weeks. Grey sky, rainy and way too cold for being end of August. So I’ve been craving stews, big warm pasta dishes, hot noodle soups and…this creamy avocado dip. Like, hello. Get-in-my-belly-now.
The good thing about this creamy avocado dip is that you can eat it however you like. Use it as a dip with bread, raw veggies, oil-free crackers or chips, add it to pasta dishes or top your Buddha bowls with a couple heaping tablespoons of this delicious goodness.
The bad thing about it, is that you will want to eat it all day, every day. It’s so good, it’s kind of addictive. But it’s a healthy dip, so I´ve been adding a couple tablespoons to most of my meals and I don’t feel a bit sorry about that. Oh, and I’m guilty of eating it with a huge plate of oil-free crispy fries and thinking…is this real life? Can this simple combo be so seriously good and satisfying? Believe me guys, the next time you crave chips with cheese and guacamole, make this creamy avocado dip with some healthy fries instead. Both, your body and taste buds will thank you.
