BLOGGING
Since I get questions about this quite often, I thought I would share some of the products and services I use. Things change pretty quickly in the blogging world, so I´ll try to keep it updated.

CAMERAS
NIKON D3200
Almost every picture on my blog was shot with a Nikon D3200. It´s been my first, and only, reflex camera since I wanted to improve my photography. Even though I bought it 4 years ago, I´m still in love with it. If you are looking for a good reflex camera but you don´t want to spend too much money, this camera is the perfect pick, seriously amazing for its price. I am not sure whether you can still buy it, but you can certainly find the new models, the D3300 or D3400. I personally recommend buying the body and the lenses separately. The lenses are just as or even more important than the camera itself.
SONY RX 100 M3
This is my blogging and traveling camera. The quality of the pictures and videos shot with the Sony RX 100 M3 is seriously amazing. I often shoot my recipe videos with it since it´s so light and the stabilitation is amazing. No more shaky videos.
GOPRO
I take my GoPro Hero 4 to the beach, swimming pool, travels and bike trips. Perfect for all those “adventurous” moments when I don´t dare to use one of the above. The newest model is the Hero 5.
LENSES
NIKON 50MM 1.8
This was the first lense I purchased thanks to the recommendations of a good friend (thanks Julián!) and oh boy, I couldn´t love it more. This Nikon 50mm 1.8 lense renders a beautiful bokeh and the pictures are incredibly sharp. For its price and as a food blogger, this should definitely be your first lense.
SIGMA 30MM 1.4
After using the Nikon 50mm for a while, I really felt like having a second lense with a lower focal length. So after reading a lot on the internet, I decided to give the Sigma 30mm 1.4 a try. Even though this is not a cheap lense, it had such amazing reviews that I decided that waiting a little bit and saving so money was worth it. Seriously, It did not disappoint. Now I often have trouble deciding with which lense to shot.
PLUGINS
WP TASTY PINS PLUGIN
I got WP Tasty Pins short after it launched. The idea of being able to optimize my pictures for both, SEO and Pinterest, was simply amazing. The plugin provides a description box that allows you to set your perfect pinterest description while leaving your “Alt Tex” description box free so that you can optimize your pictures for SEo too. I´ve no words to describe how great this is for bloggers, since Pinterest is such an importat traffic source.
COOKBOOK PLUGIN
If you are a food blogger, you probably already know that a recipe card plugin is a must. With the Cookbook Plugin, uploading your recipes becomes a much easier task and it provides features such as SEO optimization, recipe ratings, rich formatting and is also mobile friendly.
LEARNING TOOLS
FOOD BLOGGER PRO
If I had to recommend only one learning tool for new food bloggers, that would be Food Blogger Pro. You will find tons of videos to teach you everything you need to know concerning blogging. Like seriously, EVERYTHING. From how to use your DSLR camera to how to start a blog in WordPress. I initially subscribed for a month but now I´m a yearly member and I couldn´t be happier with my decision. The information you get for the price you pay is simply incredible. There´s also a forum where you can ask questions and other food bloggers will help you out. But the best part? The keep uploading new content regularly which is very important. We all know that everything related to blogging, technology and internet marketing changes very fast. A big thumbs up for Food Blogger Pro.
