Hey guys, I am so happy to be back. I haven’t been posting lately because I was on vacation and even though I wanted to schedule some posts in advance, it was kind of impossible. But I´m back to posting 1-2 times per week (hopefully mostly 2/week) and I couldn´t be more excited because I have awesome recipes to share with you.
Let’s start with this amazingly delicious oil-free basil dressing. This is the kind of dressing that you want to double or triple when making it because it fits with almost everything and it won’t last very long in your fridge. You can add it to salads, pasta, rice, veggies, potatoes…you name it.
If you are wondering…”what if I don’t like basil?” No problem. Use any other herb, because this dressing is fully customizable. What about a cilantro dressing? That sounds amazing too.
I know it’s not a fancy recipe but most of us just prefer recipes that are easy, simple, tasty and that can be made in under 5-15 minutes. That’s what this oil-free basil dressing is all about. Simplicity. Oh, and pure deliciousness too!
OIL-FREE BASIL DRESSING

Ingredients
- 1 huge bunch of fresh basil (2 cups packed)
- 1/3 cup (80ml) tahini
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon maple or agave syrup
- 1 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup to 3/4 cups water (adjust to desired consistency)
- Pinch pepper
Instructions
- Blend everything up until smooth.
Notes
- Keep in an airtight container in the fridge up to 3-4 days.
