And to change things a little bit, we are using rice flakes instead of oats. But don’t worry, if you can’t say no to your morning oats, just swap the rice flakes for rolled oats and the recipe will be just as good.

This gluten-free and dairy-free porridge is a delicious and nourishing breakfast for any day of the week. This blueberry and yogurt porridge is sweet, creamy can be made with rice flakes or rolled oats, your choice!
Ingredients
- 1 and ½ cups frozen blueberries
- 1 and ¼ cups rice flakes or rolled oats
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 cup water
- ½ cup almond yogurt
- 4 tablespoons maple syrup (or any other of your choice).
Instructions
- In a saucepan over high, place the blueberries, rice flakes (or rolled oats), the water and the milk. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to low-medium.Cook for a few minutes, stirring constantly, until desired consistency. The longer you cook it, the thicker it will get.
- Add the yogurt and the maple syrup.
- Serve with the toppings of your choice. Mine were: chopped pistachios, hemp seeds, shredded wheat, halva and a splash of almond milk.
